ABOUT JPPSS

The Journal of Philosophy, Policy and Strategic Studies (JPPSS) is an international, open access, indexed and peer-reviewed scholarly journal. The journal is domiciled in the Department of Philosophy, University of Uyo, Nigeria and it is published quarterly, that is, four times a year, precisely in March, June, September and December. That means submissions of manuscripts to JPPSS for review and possible publication in any of its editions are on-going at all times. The journal is available both in online and print versions. JPPSS publishes original research articles, critical essays, paper or book reviews, conceptual framework, policy and strategic issues, simulation and analytical models, empirical and technical works, case studies in the humanities, education, business management, social science and other related fields. Each manuscript intended to be published in JPPSS must be in English and should have an abstract of not more than 250 words and a maximum of ten keywords, placed immediately after the abstract. As expected, the abstract should state the research problem, the main aim, research method, main finding(s) or implication(s), conclusion and major recommendations of the work. Submissions to JPPSS should be typed, double-spaced, using Times New Roman or Tahoma and 12 font size on A4 paper as a word document. The manuscript should not be more than 9,000 words, that is, 15 pages (inclusive of abstract, keywords, works cited and so on). The documentation style adopted by the JPPSS for all manuscripts is the Modern Language Association (MLA), the 7th edition or American Psychological Association (APA), 7th edition; with author’s surname, year and page in the in-text citation. Each manuscript should be accompanied with information about the author’s full name (with surname coming last), institutional affiliation, email address, phone number and title. Manuscripts should be submitted as email attachments in MS word format to: jppssuniuyo@gmail.com. Copyrights for articles published in Journal of Philosophy, Policy and Strategic Studies (JPPSS) are retained by the journal or publishers. In other works, the journal or publishers can bring an infringement action on any violation, in parts or whole.
